About Petal
Petal's story is heartbreaking yet hopeful. Five years ago, she was just a three-week-old puppy, finding her way into a dark shelter filled with chaos. Adopted then, her life seemed promising, but it spiraled downwards until she was found again, dirty and skittish. Abandoned by her adopters, she faced imminent euthanasia at the shelter. Luckily, we were able to save her just in time. Now, Petal is on her journey to recovery. Though she can still be timid, especially around new people, she has learned to trust again. She might cower or roll over when frightened, but she loves going for walks and has formed friendships with other dogs at the kennel. Crate-trained and housebroken, she’s a quiet companion who thrives on cuddles. Petal is moderately active, enjoying strolls while still appreciating lazy days in the cool air.
