About Babe Ruth

Meet Babe Ruth, a 3-year-old Boxer-American Bulldog mix tipping the scales at 98 pounds. This gentle giant has truly earned his name. Fully potty trained, crate trained, neutered, and microchipped, he’s also up to date on vaccinations as well as heartworm and flea prevention. Currently in foster care in Oak Point, Texas, Babe came from a tough situation — he was rescued from the BARC euthanasia list in April 2025. Since then, he has flourished, showing he’s a favorite among everyone he meets, from kids to other pets. He lives with two dog brothers, a sister, and three human brothers who all adore him. He thrives best either as a single dog or with female dogs, due to his alpha tendencies. Despite those alpha quirks, Babe Ruth is the ultimate cuddle buddy. He has a charming belief that he is a small lap dog and loves to snuggle up for hugs. Well behaved and permitted to roam freely in his foster home, he enjoys lounging around and never causes any mess or destruction. Babe is eager to hop into his kennel at night and sleeps soundly throughout, making him an excellent indoor companion. If you’re looking for a large, affectionate, and playful dog who loves to cuddle, Babe Ruth could be your new best friend. Ready to meet your new cuddle buddy?
