Meet Buddy Ray This handsome boy didn’t choose a hard start, but he chose to trust again. Buddy Ray is a 1-year-old pit/boxer mix who was dumped in a neighborhood and somehow found his way to kind humans who stepped up for him. The vet believes he may have been abused in his past, but you’d never know it from the love he gives so freely. Buddy Ray is about 45 pounds, roughly 2 feet at the shoulders, and all puppy at heart. He’s been neutered, fully vaccinated, wormed, and is on heartworm prevention, so he’s healthy and ready for his next chapter. What Buddy Ray is all about: • Sweet, affectionate, and eager to please • Loves to run, play, and burn off puppy energy • Great with other dogs, especially larger ones who can match his play style • Very smart and easy to train • Thrives on attention and responds beautifully to love He’s been in a home for about two months and does well indoors, though like any young dog, he can have accidents if he’s ignored too long. He hasn’t been around cats, so his behavior with them is unknown. Buddy Ray needs a forever home with a family who will cherish him, give him time, guidance, and affection, and ideally have other dogs to play with.
