About Buddy Ray
Buddy Ray had a rough start in life, but he never lost his gentle heart. Rescued after being left behind, he’s a one-year-old pit/boxer mix who’s quick to trust and generous with affection. At about 45 pounds and standing two feet at the shoulders, he stays true to his puppy spirit—full of energy, always eager for play, and happiest when someone’s paying attention. He’s been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, and takes heartworm prevention, so he comes ready to move forward. Buddy Ray thrives in the company of other dogs, especially those big enough to keep up with him during romps in the yard. He's smart, responds well to training, and loves being part of the action. While he does well inside, he’s young, so occasional accidents can happen if left unchecked for too long. There’s no info yet on cats. He’ll need a patient, active family that values guidance and affection—and ideally has another dog who loves to play. Given his past, his adoption will be thoughtfully matched to make sure he’s never left behind again. Buddy Ray’s got a lot of love to give; he just wants someone to pick him for good.
