Having successfully recovered from double ACL surgery, he’s now fully healed and mobile. With no behavioral issues and being completely house-trained, he’s a wonderfully mannered gentleman at home. Max's emotional needs are just as important as his physical ones. He experiences severe separation anxiety, so he’d do best in a work-from-home or retired household where someone is present most of the day. Max cannot be kenneled — he thrives in a free-roam environment and tends to self-soothe by licking his leg when anxious. A calming treat helps him manage this behavior, keeping him comfortable when you're away for longer periods. Compatible with other dogs, Max benefits from having a calm canine companion to help him feel secure. However, he has not been tested around cats. Despite the challenges he has faced, Max's resilience shines through — he's ready to bring love and companionship to the right home.
