About Tater

Meet Tater, a charming 3-month-old Heeler mix who was rescued while all alone in the middle of a highway. Thankfully, this little potato is now thriving in foster care, where she's learning about love and family life. With a curious and playful spirit, Tater enjoys romping around with her foster friends and playing with her kitten buddies. Smart and eager to learn, Tater is already picking up commands like "come," "sit," and "stay" through positive reinforcement training. She's making strides every day despite being a bit shy at times, especially when loud noises occur. However, with patience and encouragement, she continues to build her confidence. Tater happily gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, making her an excellent fit for a family ready to nurture her growth. Currently, Tater is crate trained and working on her potty-training routine. Though she still has some learning to do on leash handling, her enthusiasm to improve shines through. With her adoption fee set at $500, Tater will be spayed under contract, and $100 will be reimbursed upon proof of spay. Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and microchipped, Tater is ready for a loving forever home. Are you the right match for her? Start your journey together! Apply now.
