About Ruger

Meet Ruger. This little guy is about three years old and weighs around 15 pounds. He’s ready to put his difficult past behind him and find a loving family. Ruger was found on the streets of South Texas, in such bad shape that he had to be shaved down completely. Fortunately, those days are long gone, and he's eager to start fresh. Ruger gets along well with several other male dogs in his playgroup, although he can be a little bossy, so he prefers companions closer to his size over smaller dogs. Initially, he might be shy, but once he opens up, his sweet personality shines. Regular grooming is essential for Ruger to keep his coat looking great. In return, he will provide you with unwavering loyalty and companionship as he embraces the good life he truly deserves. Ruger is located just outside San Antonio, Texas. We do offer transportation to various areas, so check if we have a scheduled transport near you. If you're looking for more videos of Ruger and how he interacts with other dogs, feel free to ask.
