Meet Huck, This handsome little guy weighs about 14 pounds and is around a year old. He was found living outside on a property in deep South Texas, where it was clear he wasn't welcome. Huck has had a tough start, but despite his past, he's incredibly sweet. He’s a gentle soul who is learning that he can trust people. One of the cutest things about him is how he responds to gentle approaches—he'll roll onto his back, inviting you to rub his belly as a sign of trust. Huck would do best in a calm and patient home with someone who understands that trust takes time. He might benefit from a confident canine friend to help him build his confidence and show him that the world isn't such a scary place. He's located just outside of San Antonio, Texas, and may have transport options available near you. Huck is Chagas positive, but don't let that concern you.
