About Molly

Molly is a unique mini Aussie/Chihuahua mix, about one year old and around 10 lbs. Originally surrendered by her owner due to an inability to care for her, she found refuge with a rescue when the shelter was overwhelmed. Molly is undeniably cute, but she's also quite shy and fearful of new faces. It's been a gradual process for her; she spent her initial days hiding in her foster home but is slowly warming up. She's a curious little thing, often shadowing her foster mom around the house and gazing out the window when she goes outside. However, she's hesitant about being approached or picked up, preferring to observe from a distance. Once in your arms, she relishes the affection, but she needs a patient adopter who understands her need for gradual adjustment. Molly gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a family that will support her emotional growth. With a bit of love and time, Molly will blossom into a wonderful companion. She’ll be all set for adoption after her spay on 7/29. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
