AvailableBenji is a small, adult male Chihuahua mix located in Osteen, FL. He has been altered and is housetrained. This 7-year-old pup gets along well with children, dogs, and even cats. He loves human companionship and enjoys regular playtime, especially with other dogs. Although he has not been fully diagnosed with heartworm, he is currently on a treatment protocol. He weighs 18 lbs.
About Benji
Meet Benji, a charming 7-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs 18 pounds. This friendly guy thrives on human interaction and enjoys the company of other dogs. He even gets along well with cats. Benji is primarily leash trained and crate trained, showing signs of being housetrained when let out on a consistent schedule. His favorite activity? Playing with another energetic dog in a fenced yard. Though he hasn't been with us long and hasn't shown much interest in toys yet, he’s ready for playtime and companionship. Currently, Benji is heartworm positive but is undergoing a slow kill protocol that we can explain to interested adopters. Heartworm is only contracted from infected mosquitoes and is not contagious between dogs.
