Rachel is a 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix who has dedicated her early life to caring for eight puppies, all of whom have found their forever homes. Now, it’s her turn to shine. This gentle giant came from a situation involving over 40 dogs, where the lack of socialization left her slightly timid in new environments. Rachel is large and beautiful, with a lovely medium coat in shades of white and cream. While she might initially be shy, once she feels secure, her affectionate side emerges. She is eager to connect, showing her sweet nature as she becomes more comfortable in her surroundings. She is mastering everyday activities and is making steady progress with leash walking and household routines. Rachel does well with other dogs and is also fine with cats. If another friendly dog is in her new home, it could help her continue to gain confidence, but calm and steady human companions can also help her thrive. Given her size, a securely fenced yard is essential, and she would do best in a home with children over 10. Having taken care of everyone else, Rachel is ready to receive the love she deserves.
