About Cooper
Meet Cooper, a 4-year-old Airedoodle weighing around 40-45 pounds. He’s an affectionate and energetic dog who thrives on companionship and attention. Unfortunately, Cooper's current family is looking to rehome him because he can be too rambunctious for their toddler. They believe he will flourish in a home without young children where he can be the center of someone’s attention once more. Cooper loves curling up next to you on the couch or snuggling in bed. He requires plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation, making him a perfect match for an active family. This sweet boy completed professional training and knows basic commands such as sit, down, and stay. Although he's fully housetrained, he does need some work on polite leash walking, as he can get excited during walks. Cooper does experience some anxiety and can be startled by new situations, which may lead to barking when he meets new people or dogs. With gentle introductions, his loving and sweet personality shines through. He’s currently living with two other dogs and does well, although slow introductions are recommended. While he’s unsure about cats, he would do best in a home with older children or adults who will help him build confidence through patience and positive reinforcement. With an adoption fee of $450, Cooper is already neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. This affectionate boy is waiting for someone who can be by his side and give him the focus he needs. Ready to make Cooper a part of your family? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
