Despite being in recovery, she brings a playful attitude to her interactions with other dogs and generally gets along well with them. Although she is not spayed yet, her sweet disposition makes her a wonderful future companion.
About Honey
Meet Honey, a delightful German Shepherd mix who brings together charm and resilience. At about 2 years old, she might look like the cutest little fluffball you've ever laid eyes on, but her journey has been tough. This petite girl was found in dire conditions, locked away without food or water, weighing in at only 28 lbs. Despite her past, Honey's sweetness shines through. She has no food guarding issues and interacts beautifully with both humans and her foster dog siblings. Honey's playful spirit emerges more each day. While she’s currently a bit low on energy due to her recovery, expect her to become a medium to high-energy companion as she gets stronger. She's friendly with other dogs and has a particular soft spot for them, especially the boys! Honey does get along with cats but can be a bit shy around new people, so a calm environment without young children is ideal for her. Right now, she’s thriving on a farm, enjoying walks and the company of bigger animals. As a reminder, she is currently in the care of a loving rescue and will be available for adoption once vetted.
