Living in Murphysboro, IL, he has an energetic and playful nature and weighs approximately 12 lbs. He thrives in a stimulating environment with plenty of activity and enjoys the company of other pets and older children.

Meet Archer, a delightful bundle of energy bursting with Australian Shepherd charm. At just 12 lbs, he’s a pint-sized dynamo with a vibrant personality. Archer came to the rescue after a unique beginning—born with a condition called hypospadias, he’s now fully repaired and ready for adventure. He does have a mild hitch in his step due to an underdeveloped rear paw, but that doesn't slow him down one bit. This little guy is a real athlete who thrives on playtime and is particularly fond of water. Whether it’s splashing in a kiddie pool or sprinting around with his doggy friends at daycare, Archer is always on the go. In his foster home, Archer gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. He shows kindness to his feline companions, knowing when to engage and when to leave them be. While he’s great with kids, a home with older children is ideal, as he has a natural herding instinct that might be overwhelming for little ones. Archer is still working on potty training, but he has already made great strides and enjoys crate training as well. Archer's adoption fee is covered, which includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations, and preventive care. This little buddy can't wait to meet you and join your family for an active lifestyle filled with adventures!
