Miso is a striking adult Mastiff who first arrived at the shelter back in 2021. After spending time out in the world, he came back as a stray in late 2024 and quickly found himself at risk because of shelter overcrowding. Luckily, Miso was able to spend a couple of months in a loving foster home, where his wonderful personality truly shined. During his foster stay, Miso proved to be housebroken and quickly learned to use a doggy door. He is calm and easygoing—preferring to snooze peacefully when left home alone. Miso’s gentle and cuddly nature is impossible to ignore; he’s happiest nestled into your lap, despite being a big boy! He quickly adjusts if you need a little space and loves car rides, content to rest his head in your lap or quietly ride in the backseat. Miso’s foster described him as one of the best dogs they've ever had, and it’s easy to see why. He earns compliments from everyone he meets at the shelter for his friendly, easy-to-leash demeanor and fluffy, pettable coat. Adventure-loving families looking for a loyal companion will find lots to love in Miso. He’s shown independence around other dogs and prefers people’s company, so any potential dog siblings should meet him first to ensure everyone gets along. Don’t miss your chance to welcome this affectionate cuddle bug into your life—ask to meet Miso today! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
