Angel Eyes is a social butterfly, thriving with other dogs, enjoys the company of cats, and is gentle with people. He has a cuddly side but also enjoys playful moments with his furry friends. Though he may bark occasionally at outside noises, he's mainly an easygoing companion. He is learning kennel training and making strides with potty training. Like many rescue dogs, unfamiliar situations can scare him, especially trips to the vet. If overwhelmed, he might react by being a bit nippy; thus, he needs a patient home that uses positive reinforcement to build his confidence. Older, gentle children (10+) who can respect his space would be ideal. Having faced challenges in the past, including painful matting and ear infections, Angel Eyes is gaining confidence every day. He needs regular professional grooming every 4-6 weeks to keep his coat healthy and prevent discomfort. Overall, Angel Eyes is a playful and affectionate dog who is ready to leave behind his tough past. He seeks a loving family committed to his care and confidence-building.
