About Moonpie
Meet Moonpie, your gentle companion with warm copper eyes that draw everyone in. This easy-going pup wins hearts with his adorable white socks and softly dipping pointy ears. Moonpie is a calm soul who loves being close to his humans, soaking up affection and blissfully closing his eyes when scratched behind the ears. He’s not only house and crate trained, but he also excels on a leash, making him a great fit for nearly any home. Moonpie enjoys playing with dogs in the 30–70 lb range, especially his buddy Peanut, before curling up for a cozy nap. He has been fantastic with tweens and teens, and his gentle disposition suggests he’d do well with younger children too. Car rides are a treat for Moonpie, and he responds well to commands like “no,” “get in your box,” and “come.” He’s currently mastering “sit” and “shake,” and with his eager-to-please nature, he’ll happily learn even more tricks with his new family. Whether you’re searching for a playful partner for your dog or a calm best friend to share life’s simple moments, Moonpie is an adaptable and loving addition who seeks to be part of a family. His gentle spirit and affectionate ways make him a loyal companion for years to come. Moonpie is being fostered in Seguin, TX, but he can be transported to the NE and PNW after adoption.
