With her calm and affectionate nature, Lucy brings everything you could hope for in a dog. She’s house trained, obeys commands, walks nicely on a leash, and rides quietly in the car. Her family appreciates how well-mannered she is; she’s not a counter surfer or a trash diver, and she seldom barks unnecessarily. Lucy enjoys being part of the family, seamlessly settling into whatever you have going on. Whether it’s going for walks, running with other dogs her size, or solving treat puzzles, Lucy finds joy in simple pleasures. Her sweet and gentle personality makes her a wonderful companion for children of all ages. Lucy does well with most dogs, especially those her own size. However, she’s not a fan of small dogs and might not be the best fit in a home with cats. Her previous family realized that their neighborhood, filled with small dogs, wasn't right for her. They want her to be happy and are committed to finding her a home where she can flourish.
