Meet Mushroom! This sweet, medium-energy girl truly embodies her name, putting the “fun” in fungus. When Mushroom first came to the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center, she was unsure of herself and hesitant around new people and environments. Now, as a proud graduate of our program, she adores adventures, enjoys car rides, plays happily with her dog friends, and loves cuddling after an eventful day. She has a remarkable knack for adapting to her playmates, whether that means joining in playful antics or relaxing with more laidback buddies. While Mushroom can be a bit shy with new introductions, she warms up quickly with kindness, patience, and maybe a treat or two. Her affectionate nature shines as she leans in for pets, rolls over for belly rubs, and shows off her goofy side. Mushroom needs an adopter who understands her gentle spirit and progress. She has worked hard to gain confidence and has learned essential skills, including leash walking and crate settling.
