Meet Posey! This tiny Shih Tzu mix weighs just 7.6 pounds and arrived from Hondo Animal Shelter. At around 4 years old, she’s small enough to tuck into a purse, making her an adorable companion. Posey has a fabulous temperament and gets along with everyone. She’s gentle, affectionate, and genuinely one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever encounter. She tested "indeterminate" for Chagas and will need to be retested in 30 days. If she tests positive, treatment is straightforward and inexpensive. Currently in Hondo, Texas, Posey is available for transport to Frederick, MD, on August 22nd. She’s spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and microchipped.
