About Mario

Meet Mario, a striking 3-4 year old Standard Red Poodle who has recently been surrendered by a breeder. With white markings on his chest and an uncut poodle tail, he’s a handsome fellow eager to charm everyone he meets. His foster mom gave him a short haircut for grooming, but his curls will return soon. Mario is a gentle and affectionate dog who loves to be petted and will even jump up for a hug now and then. At 65 lbs, he’s a substantial presence; care should be taken as he may unintentionally knock someone over during his affectionate moments. He enjoys outdoor activities and has been known to walk in front of you, but with a gentle nudge, he’ll get back on track. His leash training is coming along well, and he has even enjoyed outings to places like Home Depot and Lowe’s. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and is gradually mastering potty training. Mario is social and loves to engage with people everywhere he goes. If you’re ready to bring home a friendly, playful companion who enjoys life, Mario could be the one for you. Adoption fee is waived for him!
