Meet LoupGarou! LoupGarou is a 7-month-old neutered male Border Collie mix, weighing around 40 pounds. If you're after a hiking buddy or adventure partner, he’s the one for you! Loup loves hitting the trails, exploring wooded areas, or running freely in open fields. He finds true joy in discovering the outdoors with his people. He’s making great strides with his leash manners, especially while on a long line during hikes. You can't miss his oversized ears—just the sight of a treat bag has him sprinting your way! This clever pup already knows "sit" and "down," and he’s building a solid foundation for further training. Right now, he's working on his "leave it" command and shows patience during mealtimes. Loup has a playful side as well; he enjoys chasing after soccer balls, tossing toys around, and is quite the amateur bug hunter. Watching him stalk an ant or a June bug is sure to bring a smile. When it's time to relax, Loup settles nicely into his crate for naps and sleeps soundly through the night. He’s doing very well with house training; accidents are rare, typically only happening when he’s not given enough chances to go out after meals or active play. As a social butterfly, he thrives on interaction with other energetic dogs, enjoying playful games of chase and wrestling. He’s still learning canine etiquette, so guidance will help him recognize when another dog is uninterested in playing. Loup would do best in a home without young children and would really benefit from having a playful dog buddy and regular playdates. This smart and lively puppy would thrive with an active family who can help him learn to settle down after his adventures. Once he's exercised and learns when it’s time to relax, he loves nothing more than curling up for some quality affection.
