Although he's on the dominant side and leans more towards observing than playing, his low-energy nature makes him a perfect couch buddy. He enjoys the company of dogs his size and walks well on a leash. Subway is more comfortable around women and adults, and while he can manage being alone, he hasn’t been left unattended for long stretches yet. He does show some resource guarding tendencies, particularly with food and toys. However, with the right understanding and leadership, he proves to be a delightful and relaxed companion.
