Meet Mary Lincoln. Mary Lincoln may be a tiny girl at just 17 pounds, but she has a big story to tell. This little one showed up on someone's property on June 19th, making herself at home and helping herself to a few things from the porch. Initially, she was too scared to let anyone get close, and we had to use a humane trap to bring her to safety at the shelter. Upon arrival, Mary was understandably shy. However, she is slowly learning that she is safe. Recently, she's started to show signs of her sweet personality, wagging her tail and even giving her caregivers adorable love nibbles. Mary needs a patient adopter who will give her the time to build trust.
