About Eli
Meet Eli, an affectionate 4-month-old male mix of American Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador Retriever, currently weighing 32 pounds. He’s expected to grow into a charming and robust adult, likely around 60-65 pounds. Eli is a laid-back puppy, although he still brings that delightful puppy energy and joy into every room. Rescued from the SPCA in Martinsville, VA, he and his sisters found their way to caring people eager to help them flourish. Eli is friendly with people of all ages and could thrive in a home with other dogs, although we’re unsure how he interacts with cats. Like most puppies, he may annoy them at first but could be trained to coexist peacefully. With his eagerness to please, Eli is a blank slate ready to learn and will thrive with dedicated guidance from his forever family. Socialization and training are crucial, and puppy obedience classes would be an excellent start for him. Keeping him engaged with exercise and mental stimulation will help him become a well-adjusted companion. He will be neutered and ready for his new home in a couple of weeks. Is Eli the pup you’ve been looking for?
