Jake is an 8-year-old senior Jack Russell Terrier mix and is currently seeking a loving home after being adopted as a puppy. His previous owner could no longer provide the care he needed, which has left Jake a bit out of sorts. He has a distinct preference for female companionship but has gradually warmed up to some male staff members at the shelter. Unfortunately, Jake is struggling with obesity and has chronic skin irritation, but he's receiving treatment for both conditions. Jake would thrive in a calm adult-only home, as he can be particular about handling. He doesn’t require much—a cozy bed and a few short walks each day will keep him happy. This gentle soul simply desires a safe space where he can feel cherished and secure.
