About Buck
Buck is searching for a patient and loving family to help him discover the joys of life. He arrived at the shelter with his litter after their previous owner could no longer care for them. Despite being a baby, he has already revealed himself to be a sweet and gentle soul. Meeting new people can be intimidating for Buck, and he may initially be shy in unfamiliar situations. However, with a bit of time and kindness, his true personality shines through. He needs a family that will encourage him to build confidence through training and celebrate each small victory along the way. Buck is particularly comfortable around other dogs, so a confident resident dog would be a great addition to his new home. After moderate playtime, he settles down nicely, but he still needs help building confidence during walks. Since his arrival at Helping Hounds, he has shown promising progress in coming out of his shell, though he will need time to adjust in a new environment. If you have space in your heart for this shy yet endearing pup, Buck is eager to take this journey with you. Witnessing his growth and newfound confidence will be an incredibly rewarding experience.
