Meet Chester, the charming slipper bandit! This affectionate 1–2-year-old Chihuahua mix is ready to leave his past as a Georgia stray behind for a warm home in Buffalo. Weighing in at just 15 pounds, Chester is on a mission to capture hearts, even if it means occasionally ‘borrowing’ a slipper or two. Chester thrives on snuggling up on the couch with his favorite person and enjoys watching the world from the window or relaxing on the porch. He is gentle with treats and loves chew toys. Daily walks are one of his favorite activities, and he typically does well with small and medium-sized dogs. Cats are still a mystery, but he may do just fine with them. Although understandably shy, Chester is a work in progress. He may take time to acclimate to new people but will flourish in a calm, patient environment where he can build trust. He's nearly potty trained, with the occasional mishap when feeling anxious around visitors. If you offer him a loving home, Chester promises a lifetime of companionship—slippers included!
