Weighing in at a medium 55 pounds, he’s smart and food-motivated, mastering commands like sit, stay, come, paw, and even spin. Blue is house-trained, crate-trained, and flourishes with routine, thriving in calmer environments. However, his journey hasn't been without challenges; he's developed some anxiety and territorial behavior around other dogs, particularly when near his humans. While he can stroll peacefully with other dogs, he can be reactive if approached too closely. Because of his protective nature, Blue is not compatible with cats and would be happiest as the sole pet in a quiet home. Currently, he follows a fish-based diet to manage his allergies and receives a yearly allergy shot to keep him comfortable.
