About Samson

Samson, or Sammie to his friends, is an energetic eight-month-old puppy. Recently neutered, he's thrilled to have lost his last puppy teeth and is showing off his impressive skills. This smart boy walks beautifully on a leash and loves chewing his toys at your feet. Samson’s journey started when his previous family rescued him from a shelter in Utah, where he faced health challenges like parasites and kennel cough. They've worked hard to nurture him back to health, but after becoming aware of resource guarding tendencies, they realized they might need support to help him through it. Currently living with foster care for two months, he has made significant progress. Once anxious and guarded, he now happily plays with other dogs, although he still prefers some space around his food. He is good with children, but to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable, he'll need a bit of room when food is involved. This sweet boy is ready for a permanent home where he can thrive. Consider bringing Sammie into your life; you'll be glad you did!
