About Ice

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Ice, a gorgeous 3-year-old Australian Shepherd and Cattle Dog mix who was rescued from a high-risk situation. Like many dogs from such backgrounds, Ice hasn't had the easiest start and may not have been well-socialized or treated in the past. Despite this, he is a friendly, happy boy, eager for his forever family to find him. Smart, strikingly handsome, and playful, Ice would thrive with someone willing to provide the training and structure every young dog needs. One thing’s for sure—Ice is an enthusiastic soccer fan and absolutely loves to play ball! Whether it’s chasing, catching, or bringing the ball back, he shines during backyard playtime. Ice needs an active home, ideally with owners experienced in working with high-energy dogs and without young children, as his playful roughhousing is best suited to older kids or adults. He gets along well with other dogs, especially females, and is already neutered, vaccinated, and will be microchipped before adoption. Ice is waiting for a new home and all the love that comes with it—could that be yours? Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit charity dedicated to helping wonderful dogs like Ice find loving families. You can see more available dogs and happy tales of adopted pets on their website and Facebook page. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
