Meet Matilda! This sweet and playful Shih Tzu is a puppy mill survivor who’s embracing her new life. Initially a bit shy, she opens up with love and creates joy wherever she goes. Matilda has a goofy side that shines brightly as she entertains herself with her favorite toys, and she loves zooming around the house or yard. She enjoys stroller rides and snuggling with her favorite humans during cozy sessions. Matilda gets along well with other dogs, though having a companion dog is optional. Her ideal home is calm and patient, especially suited for older children or an adult-only environment where she can build confidence and learn at her own pace. Currently working on her house training, Matilda is making progress with pee pad use, and continued patience will help her succeed. She’s ready to reward a loving family with loyalty and plenty of joyful antics. Matilda has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and she’s cleared for heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
