This 5-year-old Cocker Spaniel, with her big heart and adorable floppy ears, is hoping to celebrate her 6th birthday on August 25th in her forever home instead of a foster one. Pretzel came to Heart Animal Rescue as an owner surrender after being greatly loved. Since her arrival, she’s embraced a healthier lifestyle, working toward her goal weight of 25 pounds. She’s already lost a few pounds and is eager for a family that will support her wellness journey. Think less couch potato, more walks, wagging tails, and maybe a victory lap around the yard! This sweet girl is a professional snuggler and has the classic playful personality of a Cocker Spaniel. With a medium energy level, she adores her people wholeheartedly and truly believes there’s no such thing as too much cuddle time. Pretzel prefers to be the only four-legged queen of her castle. While she can tolerate some dogs, pushy or overly enthusiastic canine housemates are not her style. She’d thrive best with older, respectful children or in a home without kids—after all, every queen deserves personal space. Pretzel is potty trained, kennel trained, and absolutely loves car rides. She’s ready to zoom around and enjoy rolling in the grass after her daily stroll. Healthy and happy, she is up to date on all vaccinations and just had her teeth cleaned professionally.
