Leo's journey began when he and his two brothers were found abandoned with their mother, Sunny, in a crate along a lonely road. A compassionate Good Samaritan intervened, ensuring this little family a second chance. Born on March 8, 2026, Leo is a lively puppy now looking for a loving home. Though he currently weighs 25 pounds, he is expected to mature between 25 and 30 pounds, following his mother, a Chihuahua/Poodle mix, and his father, an Australian Shepherd/Shepherd mix. This playful pup is full of life and enthusiasm. He loves to romp and explore with his siblings and is not shy about inviting larger dogs to join him in play. Whether he is chasing toys, investigating the yard, or showing off his impressive zoomies, Leo's spirit shines through each activity. As a young puppy, he needs a family ready to provide training, guidance, and stimulation to help him develop into a balanced adult. Leo would thrive with older children who can interact respectfully, and a fenced yard would allow him to expend his puppy energy safely. Although Leo enjoys keeping an eye on barn cats, he may do better in a home without them. He can flourish as an only dog, provided he receives plenty of family attention, but would also enjoy another friendly dog to match his high energy.
