Meet Mississippi, a sweet and friendly female Chihuahua/Pug mix looking for her forever home. At around 3 years old, she weighs about 9.8 pounds. Mississippi came to us after being rescued with her five puppies from an animal control situation. She's fully weaned, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations, plus she’s heartworm negative. Mississippi has a delightful temperament. She gets along well with other dogs and has been both affectionate and social in her interactions. Her energy level is low to medium, making her a perfect companion for quieter settings. While we don’t have cats to test her with, her gentle nature suggests she might adapt well in a multi-pet household. Importantly, she understands basic commands like "sit" and walks well on a leash. Mississippi has also shown that she can be comfortable in a kennel when needed. She's a great little girl with a personality that shines through and is likely to be an amazing addition to a loving home.
