Meet Frank, a charming 6-year-old Dachshund who recently joined Dakota Dachshund Rescue. He is gradually learning the ropes of being a house pet and shows a sweet demeanor, often following his foster mom wherever she goes. Frank enjoys running around with his foster siblings, but also cherishes quiet moments snuggling up next to his human. Initially, he needed some time to adjust, but now he eagerly wags his tail at mealtime and has minimal accidents in the house. Frank even took a camping trip and adapted beautifully, though he prefers lounging in the puppy stroller to walking on a leash. He’s a well-behaved companion who would thrive in a home with someone present a lot, or with another dog by his side. At night, you can find him snuggling up with his favorite person.
