About Gigi

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Gigi is a sweet dachshund who is just beginning her journey from breeder release to beloved house pet. She came to rescue with her two puppies and is bravely learning that home life can be warm and trusting. Gigi has grown fond of the comforts of a home—she especially loves exploring her foster mom's fenced yard and curling up next to her on the couch. While she isn’t quite ready for leash walks yet and is still wary of being picked up, Gigi is making gentle progress every day. Because she needs patience and a secure environment, a fenced yard is required for her adoption. After extensive dental care that resulted in most of her teeth being removed, Gigi now enjoys soft food that keeps her comfortable. If you are ready to offer your time, patience, and kindness, Gigi could be the perfect addition to your family, supporting her as she learns to trust and thrive in a loving home.
