He is house trained, crate trained, and perfectly comfortable being left alone. He enjoys car rides and explores the outdoors with ease. Whether it’s a quick stroll or an adventure on the trails, Sweet Gum loves spending time with his family. He has a medium energy level, enjoying activity while also knowing how to unwind after a day of fun. Sweet Gum is great with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion. However, he hasn't been tested with cats and seeks a cat-free home. He's also looking for a family with kids aged 8 years or older. With a sharp mind and a love for treats, he's eager to train and learn alongside his new family. His story began in a National Forest, where he was found wandering with another dog. Despite a rough start and needing hip surgery, he's fully recovered and ready for new adventures. Sweet Gum is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations.
