About Captain
Meet Captain, a sweet older gentleman who has captivated us all. Abandoned on the side of the road with a harness and leash, he was left with blankets and food tossed aside, underweight and in rough shape. No dog deserves such treatment, especially not someone as kind and loving as Captain. Currently, he is being fostered in a home with other dogs and even a mini pig. Captain shows respect to his fellow furry friends, displaying no aggression and preferring his own space. He can coexist peacefully with other dogs or thrive in a home without pets. This easy-going fellow loves his walks, though he may pull a bit at first from excitement—easily manageable with gentle guidance. In the house, Captain is a dream. Non-destructive and completely house trained, he can be left alone for long periods without issue. His happiest moments come during feeding time, always eager for a treat. He prefers a calm environment and, being an older dog, he sometimes favors his back end when getting up after a nap; joint supplements would benefit him greatly. Senior dogs like Captain deserve just as much love and a chance for a forever home as younger pups do. Please consider opening your heart to this wonderful boy; he will repay you with loyalty and affection. Change a life, including your own. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
