About Bear
Bear is a true sweetheart! This affectionate boy thrives on snuggles and is happiest curled up next to his favorite people. Though he’s not fond of his crate, he prefers to snooze on the couch, where he sleeps soundly through the night. He can be a bit anxious when left alone, but settles down quickly, and so far, he's been great with house training and doesn’t chew on things he shouldn't. As a walking companion, Bear does wonderfully on a leash but gets excited when he sees squirrels or bunnies, which can lead to some pulling since he’s a strong guy. Fortunately, he responds well to his name and is very food motivated, making training easier. He would love to join you on hikes, but he’s equally happy to lounge on the couch while you watch TV or hang out in the yard. Bear forms strong bonds with his humans and is incredibly loyal. He enjoys meeting new dogs and people, making him a great companion in various situations. As he gets comfortable in a home, Bear is finding his voice! He’ll alert you when someone approaches the door or walks by the yard and loves to greet folks with enthusiasm, though he may not realize how big he is yet. With consistent training, he'll learn quickly, as he’s both smart and eager to please. If you’re searching for a loyal friend who’ll join you on adventures, cuddle during movie nights, and fill your home with love, Bear is your guy. He can't wait to find a family to call his own. He’s ready to bring his love and joy to your home!
