About Smokie
Smokie is a unique mixāGerman Shepherd, husky, malamute, and cattle dogāsitting at the edge of four years old. He starts out shy, especially around men and in busy spaces, but give him a squeaky tennis ball or some treats, and that reserve fades. Smokie likes to bark when unsure but, with patience, he comes around and forms strong bonds. Heās got a playful streak and loves a game of fetch, and his house and kennel manners are solid. Smokie has met cats but hasnāt lived with them; slow introductions would be best. Heās also met kids over 10 and done fine. Timid in new or noisy environments, Smokie needs a quieter home and, for his energy, a backyard where he can run and unwind. His adopter should be ready to keep working with him on building confidence and social skills. If youāre looking for a loyal companion in a slower-paced neighborhood, Smokieās waiting in Broomfield, CO. Your new best friend is just one click away.
