About Dewey
Meet Dewey, a delightful 5-month-old, 37 lb male Blue Heeler/Coonhound mix, who’s ready to bring joy and charm into your life. He was found roaming alone at a tender age of 4 months and managed to wiggle his way into a caring foster home, where he’s thrived ever since. Dewey is crate trained and has made great strides with house training, happily settling into his routine. This spotted rascal enjoys playful adventures, whether it's romping in the yard or chasing after toys. He gets along well with resident cats and his doggy siblings, making him a fantastic addition to any family. Dewey is affectionate and loves giving sweet little kisses, but he’s also learning the boundaries between chew toys and household items, showcasing his smart and eager-to-learn nature. Though he prefers the freedom of outdoor play, Dewey is beginning to refine his leash manners and work on basic obedience. As a hound, he would thrive in a secure home with a yard where he can explore and burn off some of his playful energy. Dewey would love to find a forever home soon, so don’t hesitate to reach out and meet him! Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.
