Currently located in Glendale, AZ, she is active and playful while needing some training to manage her food aggression. Honey loves attention and is eager to please.
About Honey
Meet Honey, a delightful 18-month-old spayed female Golden Retriever ready for her forever home. This petite beauty is smart and knows basic commands. With a playful spirit, Honey enjoys retrieving her ball and showering people with affection. She craves attention and truly shines when she’s the focus of your love. However, it’s important to note that she does exhibit some food aggression towards both people and other dogs. Current observations show that she’s sweet, funny, and eager to please but may benefit from additional training to curb her old habits. For this reason, we do not recommend placing her in a home with other dogs or children at this time. Once an adopter is chosen, Arizona Golden Rescue will provide a professional Board and Train program at no cost to help Honey with her behavioral challenges. All we ask is for commitment to follow up with the necessary training classes. If you think you can provide a loving and understanding environment for Honey, we’d love to hear from you!
