About Shaggy
Shaggy is a delightful little Chihuahua Terrier mix, tiptoeing in at 12 pounds. He came to us from Laredo, Texas, where he faced challenges living in a backyard surrounded by other dogs, infested with fleas and ticks. Initially, Shaggy was shy and a bit standoffish, curling his lip and giving a cautious look. However, as he settled into the safety of Tracy's Paws, his sweet nature started to emerge. At around three to four years old, he’s learned to trust again, but he would thrive best in a calm environment without small children. Shaggy yearns for a loyal companion willing to be patient as he adjusts. Thankfully, he's heartworm-negative and Chagas-negative, ready for a forever home where he can bask in warmth and comfort.
