Basil is a charming female tricolor Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, around 2 years old and weighing about 7-8 lbs. This sweet girl is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, making her ready for a loving home. Basil came to us from a Louisiana shelter where she was surrendered with several other dogs. Despite her skittishness, she shows potential for a loving bond. With time, patience, and a secure environment, Basil will learn to trust and flourish. Her beautiful expressions and joyful nature emerge once she feels safe. She gets along well with her sister Sage, and while they could be adopted together, both would thrive separately.
