Rocky is a 6-year-old male mixed-breed dog, medium-sized with a lovely yellow and tan coat. He has been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations. Living in Tempe, AZ, he would thrive in a calm environment and is best suited for an adults-only household where he can gradually adjust to his new surroundings.

About Rocky

Rocky is a sweet boy looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can take his time feeling safe. He came from the same home as his friend Ginger, but while they don’t need to be adopted together, they would both enjoy staying with one another if someone is open to that. Rocky can be nervous in new environments, so he needs patient, understanding people who will allow him to settle in slowly. Once he feels secure, Rocky transforms into a mellow companion who just wants to be near his humans and enjoy quiet moments together. If you have a peaceful home and a gentle approach, Rocky could be the loyal, loving friend you’ve been waiting for. Adoption requirements stipulate adults only to ensure he gets the support he needs. His adoption fee is $350 and covers spay/neuter surgery, all current vaccinations, a microchip, a free wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals, and a $25 gift voucher from My Pet Market.
