Meet our little man, CHICKEN NUGGET! Known as Nugget, this adorable pup is about 2-3 years old and weighs roughly 15 lbs. He’s tall and lanky, with the cutest little dome that recalls an ‘apple-headed chihuahua.’ We think he might be a mix of Chihuahua and another breed, possibly Pomeranian or rat terrier. Nugget thrives around other dogs. Currently fostered in a home with multiple dogs, he enjoys their company and plays well with them. He’s a very sweet and lively boy, full of energy when it’s playtime, yet loves to cuddle too. His foster mentions he’s an excellent walker and has a particular fondness for squeaky toys. This little guy is also pretty adaptable. He seems to do well in an apartment setting and doesn’t bark excessively, though he might let out a bark at the doorbell. He’s perfectly fine being left alone for several hours. With his gentle demeanor, we think Nugget would do wonderfully with children. Interestingly, he shows no interest in stray cats outside; instead, he seems curious and just wants to play with them. Nugget is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. Please note that Nugget is currently in Puerto Rico, but he can easily fly to his forever home on the East Coast once he is adopted.
