Meet Tigger! She’s a 15-year-old Chihuahua who came to us as a stray, sadly never reclaimed. Staff describe her as a very sweet and gentle girl who’d thrive in a quiet home where she can bask in the spotlight. She loves spending time with people and becomes incredibly affectionate once she’s out of her kennel, happily soaking up pets and companionship. Tigger takes her time on walks, moving at a leisurely pace, and often prefers to be carried for longer outings. While she may seem to have limited vision, she navigates her surroundings surprisingly well and manages to get around independently. It’s worth noting that Tigger sometimes requires a little encouragement at mealtime. She doesn’t enjoy eating when left alone and does best when someone offers reassurance nearby. With patience and gentle encouragement, she’ll likely settle into a regular routine. Tigger isn’t looking for a whirlwind of activities—she seeks comfort, kindness, and companionship.
