About Nelly
Nelly is a 4.5-year-old intact female, most likely a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier and Black Labrador. She’s affectionate and friendly with people, and plays well with other dogs, including her fur brother Zane, who is also available for adoption. Nelly enjoys being involved in family activities and is eager to join in on whatever you’re doing. While she walks decently on a leash, she would benefit from some consistent training to curb her jumping when excited. Inside, she can be a perfect couch potato, but she also thrives on sunny days, loving walks and car rides. She has some particular preferences, like enjoying watermelon and popcorn, and does well with other pets, children, and even cats! As she is not yet spayed, our rescue can assist with this at a discounted rate, either before adoption or afterwards. This is a rehoming scenario, so we encourage a couple of meet-and-greet sessions to ensure she finds her best forever home. We believe this approach helps Nelly transition smoothly. Ready to make Nelly a loved part of your family? This lovely girl is waiting for you!
