About Teeny

Teeny is a playful 4-year-old Dachshund-Chihuahua mix, tipping the scales at a little under 12 lbs. He’s a lively companion who thrives around people and other dogs. His eagerness for food makes training a lot easier, though he could use some continued work on his manners as he tends to get a bit too excited at times. This little guy is a dedicated velcro companion who loves being near you. He enjoys quiet play on his own or resting in his crate when there's a need for a break from his antics. While he has previously been housetrained, he's had a few accidents since the stress of losing his home, but he's improving. Patience is key during this transition for him. Teeny loves to burrow into your bedding and finds joy in lounging at your feet, just like a true dachshund. He understands the command "stay," which is useful when keeping him from rushing out the door. Due caution should be taken around children, as he can be quite eager to bolt if they accidentally open the door. If a charming little sidekick is what you're after, Teeny could be the perfect fit for you. Adopt him today and give him the loving home he deserves!
