About Hoagie

Meet Hoagie, a delightful 1-year-old Lab x Golden x Shepherd mix with a big personality and a heart full of love. Currently in Texas, he’s ready to be transported to his forever home once adopted. Hoagie has really come into his own in foster care, thriving on a daily routine. Fully housebroken and crate trained, he knows how to use the dog door and loves toys, spending hours playing and entertaining himself. Hoagie adores other dogs and would thrive with a furry sibling to join in on the fun. Although he can be nervous around loud noises and busy environments, he’s a loving companion looking for a semi-quiet home where he can feel safe and cherished. Hoagie is not suited for households with small children as they can make him uncomfortable. However, he does well with respectful older kids and teenagers. If you can provide understanding and patience along with plenty of love, Hoagie is ready to be your loyal friend. Could that be you?
